Information

- We are asset recovery specialists and specialize in
liquidating government and institutional surplus equipment. Most of the
equipment comes from working offices or labs that were recently shut
down or closed because of government cut backs and down sizing. In most
cases the equipment was in use right up until the office or lab was
closed. We are not experts with most of the equipment we are
selling, therefore we do only minimal testing of the equipment. We
generally power up the unit if possible and will tell you what happens
(if anything). However, as with all auctions, the items are being sold as
is and without warranty unless stated otherwise.
- Some of the equipment we sell is quite specialized and has
come from working hospital wards or medical offices. Some of this
equipment can be quite hazardous to the user if misused or not used
properly. Any equipment purchased should be completely checked
out by a qualified technician prior to is use. We will not be
held responsible for any injuries or damages caused by the use of any
equipment purchased. Once purchased it is the sole responsibility of
the purchaser to assume any and all liability from the use of the
equipment.

When you have finished making the payment, it should state Transaction Completed. If it states Payment Waiting to be Accepted, then you have probably made a typo in the email address, as our account automatically accepts all payments. Remember that the email address has to be exact, with no leading or trailing spaces. You will have to cancel the transaction, and re-enter the data. Also please cut the item sale info and paste it into the comment section of the payment. Having the item number and sale ID numbers in the payment email notification greatly speeds up the processing time. We generally acknowledge your PayPal payment within 24 hours.
- Do not assume anything is included in the auction, if you do not see in in the photo, or explicitly stated in the description, then it is NOT included with the item.
- Please ask ALL questions prior to bidding, we do not alter any conditions after the auction concludes. Also please do not wait till the last minute to ask your questions. We respond to all email questions within 24 hours. So if you ask your question on the day the auction ends, you will probably not receive an answer before the auctions conclusion.

Methods of Payment

Payment is due within 14 days of the auction conclusion. As per eBay policy, all prices are in US$. Acceptable forms of payment are:
All Canadian customers are expected to pay an additional 5% GST on all transactions. If you disagree with this policy, then you should not bid on any of our auctions.

| Shipping Information |
Generally the Purchaser a fixed amount for shipping & handling within the US and Canada, Plus insurance (Required - since we are not responsible for uninsured items)
- Most items will be shipped next working day after payment received.
- Please note that the average transit time between the US and Canada has been approximately 2-3 weeks lately, and sometimes longer for larger packages (up to 6-8 weeks in some cases), so please be patient. Other countries have longer transit times, and overseas shipments usually take at least 8-12 weeks. The postal system will not even put a trace on the package until 8 weeks have passed. Unfortunately the Canadian Postal system is not as sophisticated as the USPS, so online tracking of parcels is generally not available. Also please remember, if it takes 2 weeks for your payment to reach me, it will take at least that long for the package to reach you.
- Please note that we cannot allow local pickup of items. Our primary warehouse facility is for storage and processing only, and most items are stored elsewhere in our secondary storage facilities. This makes personal pickup impossible. If this is a problem for you, then please do not bid on the items.
- Note also that, since the items are already packed and stored, we are not able to combine multiple purchases under any circumstances.
- We will only ship to eBay registered addresses or PayPal confirmed addresses, we will not ship to 3rd party addresses.
- All our listings have clearly stated shipping and insurance costs for both the US and Canada, in this way there are no hidden costs and the buyer will know their total cost when they bid. Our primary goal is to keep shipping costs to a minimum and as such our primary method of shipping is by regular surface post. Air mail or other methods are available but only by special request at additional costs. UPS will only be used if the item exceeds the size or weight limits of the postal system, and then UPS ground is the preferred method. Remember that International shipments by UPS may have hidden costs associated with them, such as customs brokerage fees or duty. Unfortunately we cannot use FedEx at this time. Remember the purchaser is responsible for all customs and duty fees.
- We DO NOT ship freight collect, or on customer courier accounts.
- Generally all items must be insured, all insurance costs are clearly stated in the listings. If you decline insurance, I'm afraid I can't be responsible for loss or damage during shipping. It's very rare the way I pack (about 1 in 1,500), but it does happen. However it is more likely that an item will be lost in transit, and that is why I insist on Insurance for all items. If you'd like to decline insurance charges, I will not be held responsible for any loss, and I would suggest that you not bid on the item.

Return and refund policy

- All Sales are AS-IS with all sales being final.
- We do our best to describe the items and their operating condition as best we can. However we deal with many different types of equipment and merchandise and cannot be experts in every field. We generally tell you what we have done to test the item, and the results we have obtained. So this is all we can guarantee.
- Refunds or exchanges are generally not issued except under special circumstances, and in those cases, shipping costs are not refundable.
- Items returned will be either replaced or refunded at our discretion, and most refunds will be in the form of a credit towards future purchases only.
- In order to return an item, you must first obtain a valid RMA# from us which must be clearly marked on all returned packages and customs documentation. When you receive your RMA# you will also get full instructions, but generally, the item must be properly packaged and sent by insured post. All customs documentation must clearly state that the "item is being returned to seller for refund credit" with a declared customs value of $0.00 Failure to follow these instructions will result in the package being refused and returned to sender.
- Please note that we refuse all packages that DO NOT have a valid RMA# clearly visible.
